Richard William "Wil" Wheaton III (born 29 July 1972) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Gordie Lachance in the film Stand by Me, and his recurring role as a fictionalized version of himself on The Big Bang Theory.
